Fernhill 1 vs Balgownie 0

A win in all three grades was very pleasing. Gritty wins in Youth and Reserves led into the first grade clash.

The first half was a low quality affair with both sides guilty of ceding possession. Bally had the best chance of the first half and were unlucky not to score from a thundering drive that hit the post. Unlike previous games, we struggled to string more than a few passes together. Poor control, poor passing, too much 'dribble' and poor decision-making plagued both sides into the break.

Fernhill 1 va Balgownie 0

Saturday 16/04/2016 saw Fernhill Foxes Reserve Grade take on Balgownie Ranger FC at Ray Robertson Oval.

Fernhill started well and took control of the match early looking to knock the ball around and create chances. Some inconsistency in first touch and execution of passing resulted in possession being handed back to Balgownie too often.

Fernhill 1 vs Wests Illawarra 0

'Foxes' dominated possession and chances, in the first half, and should have gone in at the break 3-0 up. Good news, though, we were up 1-0. In the second half we allowed Wests' back into the game. Failure to capitalise on first half chances could have cost us.
